Being Ethiopia, the Motherland of all arabica coffee, ORB was established and based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and engaged in the coffee business sector, planned in catering to a diverse set of clients in various countries which enables us to deliver an Ethiopian coffee that meets the prerequisites and characteristics of clients
ORB’s expertise lies in producing Grade 1 specialty coffee, as well as premium and commercial coffee. We source our cherries mainly from the Yirgacheffe, Sidama, and Guji Areas. The coffee experts working for our company have been for several years, not just processing but also, packaging, logistics, and exports.
The company produces its quality product at different locations and climate zones which enable its management of year-round production. Existence in the market by supplying quality products throughout the year creates a strong customer base and ensures reliability.
We process the cherries at our own facility site, before the final cleaning and sorting process at our sister company’s facility Horizon Plantations.
Orb, FETCO, Horizon Plantations, Ethio Agri-CEFT, Elfora, and Jittu Horticulture are all sister companies and under the umbrella of Alamoudi Group (Midroc Investment Group).
Each company has it is own farm of different agricultural products such as fruits, vegetables, coffee, tea, sesame, and a variety of beans. each Company has a slogan that reads” the race for quality does not have a finish line”. This implies the company’s firm belief and commitment towards achieving quality and a driving force and acknowledgment of the trend of maintaining quality as an everlasting process.
